The Hot Pod™ is a duct-mounted booster heater for home and or office. It also works well with VAV equipment as reheat for offices.
How does Hot Pod™ work?
Hot Pod™ is installed in the existing ductwork and is connected to a low voltage thermostat with two-stage heating control. Heating is achieved by energizing a 120 volt, 1000/5000 watt dual heating element which uses its own internal fan to bring the space being conditioned to the desired temperature. Cooling is achieved through enhanced air flow performance by using the same fan to deliver conditioned air from a main duct and/or other conditioned areas until it has achieved the desired temperature.
