Industrial Pump Manufacturer - Application Engineer

Supplied application engineering support to manufactures' representative across the country in dealing with pumping applications. Troubleshooting of pumping problems over the phone, including heating and cooling applications.

 

Industrial distributor/manufactures representative of hydronic systems and components.-Inside Sales

Provided Inside Sales support to wholesalers and contractors. Worked with contractors on boiler, hot water and steam, and radiant floor heating applications.

What do you like best about working for Jackson Systems?

Jackson Systems’ business model of carrying most products in stock. After spending years in Industrial distribution it is great knowing that we ship most products the same day. I know our clients appreciate it, and it cuts down on the ever occurring phone call of “Can I check on the status of my order to see when it will ship”. Now the phone calls we get are, I know you shipped my order yesterday when I placed it, could I get the UPS tracking number?

 

Which is your favorite Jackson System’s product and why?

The Z-600

It is a very versatile control board. The Z-600 can handle single heat/single cool, multi-stage, and heat pumps. The 12 dip switches on the board enable the installer to set the board up to be application specific.

Over 35 years experience in the HVAC industry having served sales and product management positions with leading manufacturers

My father was a Doctor of Dental Surgery. I have three brothers and four sisters with diverse professional backgrounds ranging from engineering, medicine, teaching and commercial art

 

What hobbies do you enjoy?

I enjoy hunting, fishing, writing and recording music and working on the next great invention

Working in a creative envrionment with forward thinking people

 

Which is your favorite Jackson System’s product and why?

The Z-2000-T thermostat designed for modulating damper control. I wrote the spec and saw the production through to fruition.

I started my professional career as a middle school teacher and baseball and basketball coach in the Perry Township school system in Indianapolis. I then moved into various sales positions with major manufacturers before joining Jackson Systems in 2004.

I love spending time with my beautiful wife Amy Jo and my lovely daughter Madelyn.

Watching sports, fitness, working/playing outdoors, live music, and spending time with my family.

What do you like best about working for Jackson Systems?

Working side by side with a great group of people dedicated to do their best and laugh along the way. I also enjoy being able to go straight to the top with any questions or concerns. 

 

Which is your favorite Jackson System’s product and why?

I really enjoy the VAV diffuser offered by Jackson Systems. It allows people to obtain individual comfort in their place of employment. The VAV diffuser accomplishes this by itself as a stand-alone device or paired with a Z-2000 control panel and can even control the HVAC equipment. There are literally hundreds of thousands of locations where this product could be used. We spend so much time at work these days, it is nice to know we can provide comfort for so many people during their time there.
