Trade replacement for Bradford White, 2″ Insulation Tank (Natural Gas, 4″ W.C.)
The Honeywell/Resideo WT8840A1500 is the Water Heater Control for trade use to replace WV8840 valves used in Bradford White Water Heaters that use a 2″ insulation cavity. It is designed for use in Standing Pilot applications using an immersion well for water temperature sensing. An included integrated NTC temperature sensor reads water temperature within the appliance up to 221 F (105 C). It is self-powered by the pilot’s thermopile (no external wiring).
The WT8840A1500 serves as a replacement for:
