Description
The ASCO S261SH02N3HJ7 is a 1 1/2 inch pilot operated, normally closed (N/C) gas shut off valve designed for commercial and industrial fuel gas control applications. It operates on 120 V AC, features a zero differential piloted diaphragm design, and provides positive on/off control of natural gas in combustion systems such as industrial burners, furnaces, and commercial boilers. The valve body is made from durable die cast aluminum and is provided with 1/8 inch NPT upstream and downstream test taps to support routine maintenance and leak testing. It has a flow capacity around 35 Cv (30 Kv) and can handle a maximum differential pressure of up to 25 psi. The ambient temperature range is approximately 20 °F to 170 °F. Opening and closing times are less than about one second.
