The Lux TQX is the flagship smart thermostat in the LUX TQ Series, delivering advanced occupancy-based comfort and on-device schedule learning in a sleek black glass design. Built with Matter 1.4 certification, it works seamlessly with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings — no proprietary apps, accounts, or subscriptions required.
What sets the TQX apart is its built-in mmWave occupancy sensor and support for up to 5 wireless remote room sensors (1 included). The thermostat and its sensors intelligently detect when your family wakes up, leaves, returns, and goes to bed, then automatically adjusts heating and cooling to reduce energy use without sacrificing comfort. Multi-room temperature readings ensure every area of the home is factored into the system — not just the hallway where the thermostat is mounted. Unlike closed-system thermostats, the TQX functions as a Matter bridge, sharing occupancy, temperature, and humidity data across the Matter ecosystem for integration with lighting, security, and other smart-home applications. The intelligent display features a built-in light sensor for auto-brightness adjustment and can automatically wake or sleep based on room occupancy. Content on-screen adapts as you approach.
The TQX includes a LUX Power Bridge and trim plate in the box, making installation fast and clean — even in homes without a C-wire. All system configuration is done on-device with on-screen step-by-step instructions. A keypad lock-out with numeric PIN code prevents unauthorized changes.
