Description
The Bell & Gossett 113223 Aquastat (AQS-1/2″) is a precision temperature-sensing control designed specifically for use with NBF series circulators in hydronic heating systems. It automatically cycles the circulator based on system water temperature, helping to protect equipment and maintain efficient, reliable operation.
How It Works
This aquastat monitors supply or return water temperature and controls circulator operation accordingly. When water temperature rises to 120°F, the aquastat switches the circulator off. As the water cools back down to 100°F, the aquastat signals the circulator to turn back on — providing a 20°F differential that prevents short-cycling and promotes stable hydronic system performance.
