Description
Xylem-Hoffman Specialty Series H Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap — Model FT030H-4 (SKU 404212)
The Xylem-Hoffman Specialty 404212 is a heavy-duty Series H cast iron Float & Thermostatic (F&T) steam trap engineered for reliable condensate drainage and automatic air venting in low- to medium-pressure steam systems. With a 1″ NPT connection, a 30 PSI maximum working pressure, and a precision .235″ orifice, this trap delivers consistent performance in commercial and industrial hydronic heating applications.
Product Overview
Float & Thermostatic steam traps combine a float-operated condensate discharge valve with a thermostatic air vent element. As condensate accumulates, the float rises and opens the discharge valve, allowing continuous condensate removal. The integrated thermostatic air vent automatically purges non-condensable gases and air at startup and during operation, improving system efficiency and preventing air binding.
