Description
The U.S. Motors RESCUE EZ16 (catalog 5861) is a universal ECM replacement motor designed for furnaces and air handlers, engineered as a 16-pin variable speed replacement compatible with thousands of OEM models. This dual-horsepower motor (3/4-1/3 HP) operates on 115V or 208-230V single-phase power and includes the EZ Interface (EZI) module for field-tunable setup: simply select voltage, select horsepower, and adjust airflow to meet job requirements — no separate purchase needed, as the EZI ships included. The EZI is a direct drop-in that connects the same way as the OEM motor it replaces, with adjustable airflow at the point of installation, a multi-HP trim function for added flexibility, and remote-mount capability for easier access. It’s universally compatible with all 2.0, 2.3, EON motors, and Nidec16X4W applications. The motor features built-in 6,000-volt surge protection and industry-leading moisture protection for improved reliability in the field, and it’s stocked as a truck-stock item to help reduce callback trips.
