The AprilAire U131 is a 20×20 whole-house air purifier designed for professional installation with your existing HVAC system. It houses the AprilAire 3F311 MERV 11 3″ air filter and directs airflow through the filtration media to help clean air throughout the entire home while supporting HVAC performance and helping protect equipment from dust buildup. The U131 replaces the AprilAire 1310 Whole-House Air Purifier and features a redesigned, easy-glide rail system that ensures easier filter changes and correct filter installation every time, along with an effortless, secure closure air purifier door. Unlike portable room air purifiers that clean only one room, the U131 filters air throughout the entire home, using the AprilAire 3F311 MERV 11 3″ filter that exceeds industry requirements for MERV 11, removing up to 92% of household dust, pollen, and common allergens to help create a healthier indoor environment. The unit is designed for less resistance and more energy efficiency, delivering up to 30% lower airflow resistance than leading brands, and offers a long filter life of up to 12 months — up to 2x longer than other leading brands. Optimized airflow supports efficient HVAC operation while helping extend the life of the heating and cooling system.
