The upgrade rails slide smoothly into place with no tools needed, and the easy-glide system simplifies future filter changes — the compatible upgrade rail and filter ship conveniently packaged together as a one-time upgrade. This filter is designed to fit all compatible AprilAire 4″ whole-house air purifier cabinets. TriPure Technology delivers advanced filtration with a MERV 13 rating, capturing up to 95% of household dust, mold spores, and allergens. The filter also provides over 90% greater protection against harmful airborne particles (0.30–1.0µm) compared to AprilAire’s 3″ MERV 11 filter (3F111). The filter is designed for improved energy efficiency, delivering up to 30% lower airflow resistance than leading brands, and offers a long filter life of up to 12 months — up to 2x longer than other leading brands. A redesigned rail and media interface with directional design helps reduce installation errors for a fast, hassle-free replacement process.
