Description
Armstrong International Series 811 Cast Iron Inverted Bucket Steam Trap
The Armstrong International 811-3/4-200 is a heavy-duty cast iron inverted bucket steam trap engineered for reliable, continuous condensate removal in demanding steam systems. Part of the trusted Series 811 lineup, this trap features a 3/4″ NPT connection and is rated for operating pressures up to 200 PSI, making it well-suited for a wide range of commercial and industrial steam heating applications.
How It Works
The inverted bucket mechanism provides a time-tested, mechanically simple approach to steam trapping. As condensate fills the trap body, the inverted bucket loses buoyancy and sinks, opening the discharge valve to release condensate. When steam or air enters, the bucket floats and closes the valve — preventing live steam loss and maintaining system efficiency. The 7/64″ orifice is precisely sized to balance condensate capacity with steam conservation.
