Application
The K19AT-60 is designed for use in standing pilot ignition systems found in residential and light commercial gas-fired equipment. The thermocouple generates a millivolt signal from the pilot flame heat, which holds the gas valve open and ensures safe, continuous burner operation. If the pilot flame is extinguished, the thermocouple cools and the millivolt signal drops, allowing the gas valve to close and prevent unburned gas from accumulating.
