Description

The Braeburn 1025NC is a non-programmable, heat-only thermostat from the Builder Series, designed for single-stage conventional heating, 2 or 3-wire hydronic zone systems, and 250mV–750mV millivolt heating systems. It’s a straightforward, reliable option for baseboard hot water systems, radiant heat, and gas fireplace applications where simplicity and long-term durability matter more than programmability.

Power is flexible — the thermostat operates on 24VAC hardwire (18–30VAC) or two AA alkaline batteries (included) at 3.0VDC, making it suitable for installations without a common wire or where battery operation is preferred. Non-volatile memory retains user settings through power interruptions and battery changes, so a dead battery doesn’t wipe the configuration.

The large 2 sq. in. display with bright blue backlight is readable from across the room without leaning in, with separate room temperature and set point displays on-screen simultaneously. Control range is 45°–90°F with ±1°F accuracy. Temperature differential is field-adjustable to 0.5°, 1°, or 2°F. An adjustable temperature limit prevents occupants from setting heat above a defined maximum — useful in rental or commercial applications. F°/C° switching and a front-access reset button round out the user-facing controls.

Terminations cover R, G, W1, V3, and C. The thermostat mounts on a standard horizontal junction box, with a separate sub-base for clean installation. Dimensions are 3.62″H × 4.72″W × 1.38″D. Compatible with Braeburn 2920 vertical J-box adapter, 2950 universal wall plate, and 5970 universal thermostat guard (all sold separately).
