Copeland 998-0661-59 Valve Plate Kit

Description

The Copeland 998-0661-59 Valve Plate Kit is a genuine OEM replacement part engineered to restore and maintain the performance of Copeland compressors. Valve plate assemblies are critical internal compressor components that regulate refrigerant flow through the suction and discharge ports — making this kit an essential service item whenever a compressor is opened for repair or rebuild.

Why Replace the Valve Plate?

Over time, valve plates can experience wear, warping, or damage from liquid slugging, contamination, or normal operational stress. A worn or damaged valve plate reduces compression efficiency, increases energy consumption, and can lead to complete compressor failure if left unaddressed. Using a genuine Copeland replacement kit ensures proper fit, correct tolerances, and long-term reliability.
