Description
The Daikin-McQuay 300043670 is an OEM replacement flame sensor designed to deliver accurate and dependable flame detection in compatible Daikin-McQuay heating and HVAC systems. Flame sensors play a critical role in burner safety — they confirm the presence of a flame during ignition and signal the control board to keep the gas valve open. A failed or degraded flame sensor can cause nuisance lockouts, failed ignition sequences, and unsafe operating conditions.
Key Features
- OEM Daikin-McQuay replacement part (SKU: 300043670)
- Designed for precise flame detection and reliable burner operation
- Helps prevent nuisance shutdowns caused by a weak or faulty sensor signal
- Direct OEM replacement ensures proper fit and compatibility with applicable Daikin-McQuay equipment
- Supports safe burner control by accurately sensing burner flame presence
Application
This flame sensor is intended for use in Daikin-McQuay heating and HVAC equipment where the original sensor has degraded or failed. Always verify compatibility with your specific unit model before installation. Consult your equipment’s service manual or a qualified HVAC technician for proper installation and safety procedures.
Why Replace Your Flame Sensor?
Over time, flame sensors accumulate oxidation on the sensing rod, which reduces the microamp signal sent to the control board. When the signal drops below the control board’s threshold, the system locks out on a safety fault. Replacing the flame sensor with a genuine OEM part restores proper signal strength and eliminates unnecessary service calls.
