The Fantech RN1 is specifically designed for applications where lower pressure and flow are needed. With a record low power consumption of 20 W, this Energy efficient Fan is a perfect choice where there is good sub slab communication and lower Radon levels. RN1 Radon Fan is designed for active radon mitigation systems to employ for applications where low suction and low flow are needed. It is a perfect choice for low Radon levels and good sub-slab communication. RN1 replaces HP2133 and FR100 (Radon) models.
The fans feature a fully sealed plastic housing. The housing is joined via a vibration welding process. The process uses transverse, reciprocating motion under pressure at the point of contact between the housing’s inlet and outlet pieces. The friction produces heat that melts the thermoplastic material at the interface. The melted material quickly re-solidifies, resulting in a fused, single piece housing. The fused seam is inherently air tight, very strong and permanent. An air-tight fan ensures that efficiency is not lost and contaminants are not spilled due to leakage.
The fan can be mounted both indoor, outdoor and in wet locations. These fans feature external rotor motors that have proven dependable year after year.
A large electrical wiring enclosure is designed into the fan housing, making electrical installation easier. Thermal overload protected with automatic reset is also included.

Manufactured from two molded plastic pieces seamlessly joined together. It is inherently and permanently airtight ensuring no Radon leakage. A large watertight electrical wiring enclosure ensures electrical installation quick and simple. Fan motor is thermal overload protected with automatic reset and can be installed both indoors or outdoors. To simplify installation on a 3” or 4” PVC pipe, use FRIK 4×3 or FRIK 4×4 Installation kits.
