It precisely sequences every phase of the burner ignition cycle — from pre-purge through post-purge — delivering the timing accuracy and safety logic required in commercial boilers, industrial furnaces, and process heating systems.
With a 30-second pre-purge, the MEP149 thoroughly clears the combustion chamber of residual gases before ignition, minimizing the risk of unburned fuel accumulation. The 5-second pilot trial-for-ignition (PTFI) window provides a controlled, reliable flame establishment period, while the 90-second post-purge ensures safe ventilation of combustion gases following shutdown. Together, these timed sequences reduce hazard risk and support consistent, repeatable burner performance.
