Description
The CO7B01 is a battery-operated carbon monoxide alarm designed to detect CO levels that cannot otherwise be sensed without a dedicated alarm. The National Fire Protection Association recommends installing a carbon monoxide detector on every level of the home and inside each bedroom. This model uses an electrochemical sensor for CO detection and sounds an 85dB alarm audible at 10 feet when triggered. The unit is listed to the UL 2034 standard and includes a 9V battery, mounting hardware, and a user’s manual for straightforward installation. Alarms should be tested monthly, with batteries replaced at least every six months to ensure the detector continues functioning properly. Backed by a 7-year limited warranty.
