The Innovative Dehumidifier IW-25-6 is a quiet, sleek, tankless in/on-wall dehumidifier built to lower high relative humidity in apartments, hotels, homes, student housing, and other properties where moisture control is a persistent issue. Its versatile design recesses inside a 2×6 interior wall, fits through a 2×4 interior wall with the optional exterior sleeve, or hangs directly on any wall — giving installers flexibility across new construction and retrofit applications alike. Rated for spaces up to 1,500 sq. ft., the IW-25-6 removes up to 40 pints per day at 80°F/60% RH (24 PPD at 65°F/60% RH) using a 2-speed fan (100 cfm high / 85 cfm low), with an integrated humidistat that automatically energizes the unit when relative humidity rises above the selected set point. Air is drawn across the evaporator coil, condensing moisture out before being reheated through the condenser coil and returned to the room — under average conditions maintaining 59% RH or less, though actual performance varies by layout and environmental conditions. The unit is Energy Star 6.0 compliant and includes a washable air filter, automatic restart, integral humidity sensor, and an LED maintenance reminder light. New on this model: user-friendly controls with an optional security cover, a 2-speed fan, and optional Wi-Fi control via the DehuLink dongle for remote monitoring and operation from a smartphone.
