Description
The iO HVAC Controls D-XX Round Motorized Zone Control Damper is a 2-position, 2-wire damper built for zone control, fresh air intake, and other HVAC applications with static pressures under 1.0″ w.c. Available in standard sizes from 4″ to 20″ in diameter, it features a 24 gauge galvanized steel shell paired with a 20 gauge steel blade and a 1/2″ aluminum shaft for durable, reliable operation. Nylon bushings reduce friction and wear at the shaft, while air-tight blade seals help minimize air leakage when the damper is closed. A minimum position adjustment allows installers to set a baseline airflow even in the closed position, which is useful for maintaining ventilation in zoned systems. The standard actuator is 24 Vac, 10 VA, powered closed with spring return open, and the motor is impedance protected with no end switches for simplified wiring and long-term reliability. Powered open/spring return closed configurations, as well as a 120 Vac actuator option, are also available for jobs with different control requirements.
