Description
The iO HVAC Controls VD-XX Modulating VAV Diffuser is used to vary supply air volume from a wall-mounted thermostat, giving occupants individual zone-level comfort control. The diffuser is designed to maintain the coanda effect for draft-free discharge air along the ceiling, sustaining discharge velocity throughout its volume range. True variable air volume operation is supported in both heating and cooling modes, with a maximum air volume range of 118 to 710 CFM and adjustable minimum and maximum airflow settings. The VD-XX is suitable for lay-in ceiling installations and features a unitary stamped seamless backcone with a removable face plate for straightforward service access. Steel construction with a baked white enamel finish provides a durable, clean appearance, and the diffuser delivers a 4-way discharge pattern for even air distribution. Operation requires the diffuser to be used in conjunction with a Z-2000 panel or separately with a Z-2000-T thermostat.
