The iO HVAC Controls MZR Motorized Zone Register is a low-cost, rugged motorized register designed to work with most forced air zone control systems in a Power Close (PC) configuration. It can also be used as a stand-alone register with a wall-mounted thermostat to eliminate over-heating or over-cooling in bonus rooms, sun rooms, guest rooms, and basements. The MZR is an effective solution for adding zoning control in applications where installing a traditional zone damper isn’t practical. Suitable for both floor and ceiling installations, the register is designed to fit most existing register boots, simplifying retrofit projects. Up to six registers can be connected to a single zone when used with a zone control panel, giving flexibility for larger rooms or multi-register zone setups. The MZR operates on 24VAC power and is available in multiple sizes and finishes to match a range of installation needs. Backed by a 5-year warranty.
