Description
The iO Temp-Stat series is a line of non-adjustable, creep-action thermostats built for temporary control during construction and for permanent low-voltage switching applications where a fixed setpoint is required. Each unit uses a conductive bimetal element with gold diffused contacts to deliver low internal resistance and dependable switching on 24V control circuits rated up to 1.0 amp. The metal-encapsulated body and outer PVC jacket protect the internal switch from dust, plaster, spackle, paint, and other jobsite contaminants. Temp-Stats are commonly installed to prevent trades people from adjusting a conventional thermostat mid-construction, and are removed once the permanent thermostat is installed. The series is available in both heating and cooling configurations across a range of fixed setpoints, including a dedicated compressor lock-out model for low-ambient equipment protection. Pre-stripped 20 AWG leads rated at 600V simplify field wiring across all variations.
