The Littelfuse 460-MR is a microcontroller-based three-phase voltage monitoring relay engineered to deliver reliable protection for motors, compressors, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment operating across a wide 190–480V AC range. Continuously scanning line conditions in real time, the 460-MR instantly detects damaging electrical faults — including phase loss, phase reversal, undervoltage, overvoltage, and voltage imbalance — and deactivates the relay output after a user-defined trip delay. Once stable power is confirmed, the unit automatically resets following a programmed restart delay, minimizing downtime and protecting connected equipment from premature restart under unsafe conditions.
The “MR” designation sets this relay apart with adjustable Voltage Unbalance (VUB) trip thresholds, giving technicians the flexibility to fine-tune sensitivity and significantly reduce nuisance tripping in facilities with variable or unstable power quality.
