The MA-Line MA-BTGUK2 is a universal clear hi-impact plastic locking thermostat guard designed for HVAC residential and commercial applications where thermostat protection against tampering, vandalism, and unauthorized temperature adjustment is required. The MA-BTGUK2 ships with both a solid base (tan) and a ring base (clear), providing two installation options to accommodate a wide range of thermostat mounting configurations, and supports vertical or horizontal mounting with all necessary hardware included. Interior dimensions for the solid base are 8-1/4″ H x 5-3/8″ W x 3-1/2″ D; the ring base interior measures 8-1/8″ H x 4-5/8″ W x 3-5/8″ D, providing ample clearance for most standard programmable and non-programmable thermostats.
