Description
The Mepco (Dunham Bush) 42-815 is a Float & Thermostatic (F&T) steam trap engineered for dependable condensate and air removal in low-pressure steam heating systems. How It Works
Float & Thermostatic traps combine two mechanisms in one body. The float valve responds continuously to condensate levels, opening and closing to discharge liquid condensate as it accumulates. The thermostatic air vent automatically purges non-condensable gases and air from the system at startup and during operation, improving system efficiency and heat transfer.
