Description
The Midea 7817324 is an OEM replacement ionization electrode with gasket, designed to deliver dependable flame sensing performance in compatible Midea gas-fired heating equipment. Ionization electrodes play a critical role in combustion safety — they detect the presence of a flame by measuring the small electrical current produced during ionization, signaling the control system that ignition has been successfully established. A failed or degraded electrode can result in nuisance lockouts, failed ignition sequences, or unsafe operating conditions, making timely replacement essential for system reliability.
