Description
Modine 5H0730570004 — 220°F Manual Reset Block Vent Switch
The Modine 5H0730570004 is a genuine OEM block vent switch designed to protect Modine heating equipment from dangerous blocked-flue and overheating conditions. With a 220°F trip temperature and manual reset (M/R) operation, this safety device ensures the heater shuts down when vent blockage or excessive heat is detected — and stays off until a qualified technician manually resets it, confirming the issue has been resolved before restoring operation.
Key Features
- 220°F (104°C) trip temperature for precise high-limit protection
- Manual reset (M/R) operation — requires deliberate technician intervention before restart
- Designed to detect blocked vent or flue conditions in Modine heating units
- Genuine Modine OEM replacement part for reliable, factory-spec performance
- Helps prevent heat exchanger damage, carbon monoxide risk, and equipment failure
- Direct drop-in replacement for compatible Modine heater models
Why Manual Reset Matters
Unlike automatic-reset limit switches, a manual reset block vent switch requires a technician to physically inspect and clear the vent obstruction before the heater can be restarted. This added safety layer prevents repeated cycling through a dangerous fault condition, protecting both equipment and building occupants.
Application
- Compatible with select Modine unit heaters and heating equipment
- Ideal for commercial and industrial heating applications
- Recommended for use as a direct OEM replacement part
