Description
The Modine 5H0807460001 is a 145°F manual reset (M/R) limit switch engineered as a genuine OEM replacement component for compatible Modine heating equipment. Limit switches are critical safety devices that monitor operating temperatures and interrupt the circuit when a preset high-temperature threshold is reached, protecting your equipment from overheating damage.
Key Features
- 145°F (63°C) trip temperature for precise high-limit protection
- Manual reset design — requires deliberate operator action to restore operation after a trip event, ensuring the root cause is investigated before restart
- Genuine Modine OEM replacement part for accurate fit and reliable performance
- Designed to interrupt the circuit on high-temperature fault conditions, safeguarding heat exchangers and burner assemblies
- Direct drop-in replacement for original Modine limit switch applications
Applications
- Modine unit heaters and make-up air equipment requiring high-limit safety control
- Commercial and industrial heating systems where manual reset confirmation is required after a safety trip
- Replacement of worn, failed, or nuisance-tripping OEM limit switches
Why Choose a Manual Reset Limit Switch?
Unlike automatic reset limit switches, a manual reset limit switch requires a technician or operator to physically reset the device after it trips. This added safety layer ensures that any overtemperature condition is properly diagnosed and corrected before the heating system is returned to service — reducing the risk of repeat faults and equipment damage.
