Description
The iO HVAC Controls ZD-XX is a heavy-duty commercial round zone control damper assembly that includes a damper, modulating actuator, duct temperature sensor, and actuator control board in a single unit. This 3-wire modulating damper provides application flexibility with minimum position adjustment, and is designed for use as part of the Z2000 zone panel system when paired with a Z2000-T, P+I zone thermostat. The ZD-XX features 22-gauge steel shell and 20-gauge steel blade construction with a 1/2″ aluminum shaft, nylon bushings, and airtight blade seals to minimize leakage. The modulating actuator operates on 24V, 2.5VA power with a 90-second timing cycle and 45 lb-in of torque. The damper handles airflow up to 4,000 CFM with a maximum static pressure of 2 inches w.c. and maximum velocity of 2,000 fpm, and meets Class 2 leakage rating (10 cfm/ft² at 1″ w.g.). Available in standard sizes from 4″ to 20″.
