Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-100571-02 is an OEM low ambient control with auto reset, engineered to protect and maintain reliable air conditioning system operation during low outdoor ambient temperature conditions. When ambient temperatures drop, refrigerant pressures can fall below safe operating thresholds — this control monitors those conditions and prevents compressor damage by cycling the condenser fan motor accordingly. The auto reset feature restores normal operation automatically once safe conditions return, minimizing downtime and the need for manual intervention.
