Description
The Rheem-Ruud 71-104627-03 is a genuine OEM fixed sheave engineered specifically for Rheem-Ruud heating and cooling equipment. Fixed sheaves are a critical component in belt-drive blower assemblies, maintaining a constant drive ratio to ensure consistent airflow delivery and reliable system performance over the life of the unit.
Product Overview
Designed as a direct OEM replacement, this fixed sheave is manufactured to Rheem-Ruud’s exacting specifications. Unlike adjustable sheaves, a fixed sheave provides a locked, non-variable drive ratio — ideal for applications where a set blower speed has been engineered into the system design. Proper sheave replacement helps maintain rated airflow, reduces belt wear, and protects blower motor efficiency.
