Description
The Rheem Endeavor RCFZ3617STANMC is a 3-ton (36,000 BTU/h) cased N-coil evaporator coil for upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications, designed for use with R-410A refrigerant and built to pair with gas or oil furnaces across a range of outdoor unit configurations. The N-coil design maximizes heat transfer performance while minimizing the installed height — a practical advantage on retrofit jobs where cabinet space above the furnace is limited.
The coil is factory-tested for refrigerant leaks prior to shipment and features aluminum fins bonded to internally grooved aluminum tubing for efficient heat transfer. Chatleff metering device connections are included at the TXV inlet and outlet, plus equalizer connections, for straightforward refrigerant circuit hookup. Copper sweat refrigerant connections — 3/8″ liquid, 3/4″ suction — and dual 3/4″ NPT condensate drain connections on both primary and secondary provide flexible drain routing for vertical and horizontal installations.
The bi-directional airflow design eliminates the need to reconfigure internal components when switching between horizontal left and horizontal right orientations. The condensate drain pan is constructed of high-grade, heat-resistant, corrosion-free thermal-set material, and the unit is compatible with germicidal UV light systems. AHRI certified for system application with a variety of outdoor units.
