Description
Spartan Valves ME7940C Overview
The Spartan Valves ME7940C is a 24-volt, normally closed (N/C), spring return actuator engineered for reliable and precise valve control in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Featuring a right-angle (R/A) mounting configuration and a 10–0 VDC reverse-acting control signal, this actuator is designed to deliver accurate, repeatable positioning performance in demanding building automation and hydronic control applications.
Key Features
- 24V operating voltage for compatibility with standard HVAC control systems
- Right-angle (R/A) mounting configuration for space-efficient installation
- 10–0 VDC reverse-acting proportional control signal for precise modulation
- Normally closed (N/C) fail-safe position ensures system safety on power loss
- Spring return (S/R) mechanism provides automatic fail-safe valve closure
- Designed for use with compatible Spartan Valves valve bodies in hydronic and HVAC applications
- Durable construction suited for commercial and light industrial environments
Application
The ME7940C actuator is ideal for use in building automation systems, air handling units, fan coil units, and hydronic heating and cooling systems where dependable modulating control and fail-safe operation are required. The spring return function ensures the valve returns to the normally closed position upon loss of power or control signal, protecting system integrity.
