Description
The Supco SHL507 is a board-mounted, general-purpose temperature limit switch engineered for reliable overheat protection in HVAC and appliance control applications. Featuring fixed open and close temperature setpoints with automatic reset functionality, this switch provides dependable, hands-free protection without requiring manual intervention after a temperature fault clears.
How It Works
The SHL507 monitors air or surface temperatures through its 3.12″ insertion length sensing element. When the sensed temperature rises to the fixed open setpoint of 140°F, the SPST normally closed (NC) switch opens, interrupting the control circuit and protecting downstream components. Once temperatures fall back to the fixed close setpoint of 110°F, the switch automatically resets — restoring normal operation without technician intervention.
