The Uniweld TYPE17-15 Rosebud Heating Tip is purpose-built for brazing, soldering, straightening, and general heating tasks, making it a versatile choice for HVAC and refrigeration techs who need broad, even heat rather than a focused welding flame. At 7″ overall length, this tip handles acetylene flow of 15-30 SCFH at 10-20 PSIG oxygen and 8-12 PSIG acetylene, and is rated to braze copper tubing from 1/8″ up to 2-5/8″ in diameter — well-suited for larger refrigeration line sets and copper pipe work. The TYPE17-15 fits Uniweld’s 71, WH250, WH550, and WH350 welding handles directly; note that Type 17 and Type 28 tips require an F15 adaptor when used with these handles. Each tip is flame tested for consistent, reliable performance before it ships.
