Description
The Uniweld TYPE17-3 is a V-style welding tip from Uniweld’s TYPE17 Series, designed for welding, brazing, heating, and soldering applications using oxyacetylene, natural gas, propane, propylene, or hydrogen fuel gases. Sized for weld metal thickness from 1/8″ to 3/16″, the TYPE17-3 uses a standard 1/4″-27 (M,F) elbow/mixer thread spec and is rated for 7 PSIG oxygen and 6 PSIG acetylene at 18 SCFH. Each tip is flame tested to verify performance before shipping, ensuring a consistent, reliable flame for precision welding and brazing work. Compatible with Uniweld torch handles and mixers using the TYPE17 elbow, this tip is a straightforward fit for techs already using the TYPE17 series across different weld thicknesses.
