Description
The York S1-024-19082-034 is an OEM heat relay sequencer designed to provide controlled, staged activation of electric heating elements in York heating systems. Operating on a 24V control circuit, this sequencer helps prevent nuisance tripping of circuit breakers and reduces electrical demand spikes by staggering the energizing of heating elements in sequence rather than all at once.
Key Features
- OEM York replacement part — ensures proper fit and function
- 24V control voltage for compatibility with standard low-voltage thermostat circuits
- Staged heat sequencing to reduce electrical demand and protect system components
- Designed for reliable, long-term performance in electric furnace and air handler applications
- Direct replacement for failed or worn sequencers in York equipment
Application
This heat relay sequencer is engineered for use in York electric furnaces and air handlers where sequential staging of heating elements is required. By activating heating elements in a timed sequence, it protects the electrical system from overload and extends the service life of heating components. Always verify compatibility with your specific York model before installation.
