Power Open / Power Closed Operation
Unlike spring-return dampers, the RDP-12 uses a 12Vdc power open/power closed (POPC) motor (MP12M). This means the damper is actively driven to both the open and closed positions, providing positive, reliable shutoff and fast response times. Power open/power closed operation is ideal for zoning applications where tight airflow control and quick actuation are required.
