Description
The Armstrong International A5572 is a 3/8″ NPT vacuum breaker engineered specifically for use with Armstrong’s AI2, A3, AI3, A4, AI4, A5, B2, BI2, B3, BI3, B4, BI4, and B5 Series Float & Thermostatic (F&T) steam traps. Designed as a direct replacement or supplemental accessory, this vacuum breaker prevents the formation of negative pressure (vacuum) within steam piping and trap bodies — a critical safeguard against water hammer, condensate backflow, and system damage in steam heating and process applications.
