Description
The Carrier 345585-75113 is an OEM inducer assembly engineered as a direct replacement for compatible Carrier furnace systems. The inducer assembly plays a critical role in the combustion process — drawing combustion gases through the heat exchanger and safely venting them out of the flue, while also proving proper draft before ignition is allowed to occur.
Key Features
- OEM Carrier replacement part — ensures proper fit and function in compatible Carrier furnace models
- Inducer motor and housing assembly for reliable draft induction performance
- Engineered to maintain correct flue gas flow and combustion efficiency
- Supports safe furnace operation by proving adequate draft prior to ignition sequence
- Built to Carrier’s original specifications for long-lasting, dependable service
Application
This inducer assembly is designed for use in Carrier residential and light commercial gas furnaces. It replaces a failed or worn inducer motor/assembly to restore proper furnace operation. Always verify compatibility with your specific furnace model number before installation.
Why Replace Your Inducer Assembly?
A failing inducer assembly can cause a furnace to short-cycle, fail to ignite, or trigger pressure switch lockouts. Replacing the inducer assembly with a genuine Carrier OEM part ensures the system returns to factory-specified performance, maintains warranty compliance, and minimizes callbacks.
Installation Notes
- Consult the furnace service manual for wiring and mounting specifications
- Verify pressure switch tubing connections after installation
- Recommended installation by a qualified HVAC technician
