Description
The Henry Technologies S-5203 is a high-performance refrigeration oil separator engineered to protect compressors and maintain system efficiency by removing entrained oil from the discharge gas before it circulates through the refrigeration system. With a 2-5/8″ ODS (Outside Diameter Solder) inlet connection and a 3/8″ FL (Flare) oil return connection, this separator is designed for larger commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems where oil carryover control is critical.
How It Works
Oil separators intercept compressor discharge gas and use centrifugal action, impingement, and gravity to separate lubricating oil from refrigerant vapor. The separated oil is then returned to the compressor crankcase via the float-controlled return line, keeping the refrigerant circuit clean and the compressor properly lubricated.
