The Parker-Sporlan 475448 is a 2-1/2″ NPT Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) engineered for precise hydronic flow management in commercial HVAC systems. Combining a brass body with stainless steel trim, this two-way valve delivers equal percentage flow characteristics and maintains accurate flow control regardless of system pressure fluctuations — eliminating the need for manual balancing.
Designed for maximum installation flexibility, the 475448 supports multiple control input signals and is powered by a 24 Vac actuator with non-spring return, modulating and floating operation. The integrated 500-ohm resistor enables direct compatibility with 4-20 mA control systems without additional field wiring components.
