Description
The Daikin FTKF is an OTERRA series wall-mount indoor unit designed for single-zone ductless installations in rooms with poor airflow, additions, renovations, basements, or garages. Available in multiple capacities and in two configurations: A-Series (cooling-only) or B-Series (heat pump, cooling and heating).
Both series use a variable-speed inverter swing compressor that ramps output to match demand rather than cycling at full capacity, delivering efficient temperature control with quiet operation — as low as 19–34 dB(A) depending on model and mode. Each unit ships pre-charged for up to 32.8 ft. of liquid line, runs on R-32 refrigerant, and includes a wireless backlit IR remote for control from anywhere in the room.
The A-Series is a cooling-only configuration, ENERGY STAR certified, and a strong value option for spaces that don’t need heating. The B-Series steps up to full heat pump operation for year-round comfort, and adds built-in Wi-Fi (no external adapter required), a washable Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic air-purifying filter, and Blue Fin corrosion-resistant coil protection.
Note: this is an indoor unit only — it requires a matched Daikin OTERRA outdoor condenser of the correct tonnage and generation (A or B-Series) to form a complete system, and cannot operate standalone. A and B-Series indoor/outdoor units are not generally interchangeable — confirm the matching outdoor unit generation before ordering.
