How It Works
VFD-driven motors generate high-frequency shaft voltages that, without proper mitigation, discharge through the motor’s bearings. Over time, these electrical discharges cause pitting, fluting, and premature bearing failure. The Aegis SGR shaft grounding ring provides a low-impedance path to ground, safely diverting harmful shaft currents away from the bearings and dramatically extending motor service life.
