Description
The Allanson 421-655-G is an OEM ferromagnetic ignition transformer designed to deliver reliable high-voltage spark energy for Power Flame oil burner systems and other HVAC combustion applications. It operates on a 120 VAC primary input and steps up to a 10,000 VAC secondary output (approx. 23 mA at ~250 VA), providing consistent ignition performance under constant-duty conditions. Built with high-temperature internal wiring and mid-point grounded double-pole ferromagnetic construction, this transformer runs cooler and quieter than many generic replacements while meeting EMI/RFI noise suppression standards. The “G” suffix indicates this is the updated Power Flame replacement version of the 421-655 model.
