The Goodman / Amana 11177117 Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM dual pressure safety switch designed for HVAC systems and gas furnaces. It monitors the airflow pressure (vacuum) across the inducer motor / vent system and ensures safe operation by opening or closing electrical contacts when preset pressure thresholds are met. This switch plays a vital role in furnace safety and proper combustion control. According to manufacturer specifications, it supports a low‑pressure setpoint of approximately 0.20″ W.C. and a high side (trip) of about 0.55″ W.C.
