The Armstrong International 15B8 is a Series B Cast Iron Float & Thermostatic (F&T) Steam Trap engineered for reliable, continuous condensate discharge in low-pressure steam systems. Featuring a standard 2″ NPT connection and rated to 15 PSI, this trap is well-suited for unit heaters, heat exchangers, coils, and other steam heating equipment where efficient condensate removal is critical to system performance.
The float mechanism responds immediately to condensate load, providing modulating, continuous discharge rather than intermittent cycling — minimizing waterlogging and maximizing heat transfer efficiency. The integrated thermostatic air vent automatically purges non-condensable gases at startup and during operation, improving system warm-up times and overall efficiency.
