Description
The Armstrong International 811-1-200 is a Series 811 Cast Iron Inverted Bucket Steam Trap engineered for dependable, energy-efficient condensate removal in industrial and commercial steam systems. Built with a rugged cast iron body, this trap is designed to handle demanding operating conditions while delivering consistent, long-service performance.
How It Works
The inverted bucket mechanism is one of the most proven steam trap operating principles in the industry. As condensate enters the trap body, the inverted bucket sinks and opens the discharge valve, allowing condensate and non-condensable gases to be expelled. When live steam enters, the bucket floats and closes the valve, preventing steam loss. This continuous cycling ensures efficient condensate drainage while conserving steam energy.
