Description
Upgrade or replace your furnace's gas valve with the White Rodgers 36J55-214, a versatile combination gas valve engineered for today's high-efficiency, non-piloted intermittent ignition systems. Designed for use with both Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) and Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) systems, this two-stage slow opening valve provides precise, controlled gas delivery that supports the staged heating demands of modern gas furnaces while keeping operation quiet and efficient. Operating on 24 VAC with a straight-through 1/2" x 1/2" NPT connection, it features a hi-fire regulator calibrated to 3.5" W.C. at 100,000 BTU/hr for natural gas and a lo-fire regulator calibrated to 1.5" W.C., giving technicians the flexibility needed across a wide range of system configurations. The valve ships with inlet and outlet pressure taps for easy field verification, 1/2" x 3/8" NPT reducer bushings, a plastic hose barb for 1/4" flexible tubing, and an LP gas conversion kit for propane applications — making it a truly all-in-one solution.
